1. Eyelashes Mites

Have you ever had an eye twitch?  Did you ever wonder what it was?  Well, according to “Ten Creepy Things You Didn’t Know About Your Body” by Sabine Berves, they are caused by eyelashes mites!  They may seem like bad insects living in your eyelashes, but they are actually helping them by eating the tea-tree oils in your skin! Having these mites leads to healthy eyelashes!  

2. Stomach Bacteria

Here is a fun fact, ever wonder what happens to your stomach after you die?  Well after you die, your stomach is still clean and happy.  The bacteria makes it crystal clear and keeps it alive, because they feed on the lactic acid in your stomach, which keeps it from rotting or dying.

7. Fast Nerves

Nerve impulses to and from the brain travel as fast as 170 miles per hour.  Neurons continue to grow throughout human life.  Information travels at different speeds within different types of neurons. Our nerves are approximately 0.1 millimeters big, and they are divided in our central nervous system.   

8. You Can’t Tickle Yourself

The lifespan of a human hair is 3 to 7 years on average.  Every day the average person loses 60-100 strands of hair.  Don’t worry, you must lose over 50% of your scalp hairs before it is visible to anyone.
